for the DTA contest.

I had deleted most of my old-old art from this gallery so I had to pick something that I knew I'd draw differently now so I went with this one.

I know a lot of people will be like "OMG I LIKE THE OLD ONE MORE!" but there's no going back for me so if you really want to see my art look like that your best bet is to go out and buy the old volumes of RE: Play off ebay, sorry.

The old one was drawn huge and inked with microns, the new one was drawn standard comic page size and was inked with a maru-pen and a brush pen, this is why the original one has much finer more mechanical inking.

So yeah, I'm sure some of you will prefer that and while I certainly dont hate the old one I have no love lost for that old inking, it looks so dead to me now lol.

I actually prefer the new one, to be honest. Your skills have improved over the hears, and looking at this one...the overall composition is better, and everything feels more...well..it feels like movement in the image, like realistically. I jsut feel a better sense of power in the overall gesture too.

You've come a long way from your entry in RSOM, Christy :3 (LOL Yes I have been following you since then, and so far will try to buy every book/copybon/etc that you sell that I can get my grubby hands on via the internet)

_{OXO This is just so epic, I love seeing how different something looks after a time frame It shows how you've gained experience in it. I like both of them really. It shows where you came from to how you grew into now and how your moving towards the future OXO! There's nothing I hate about any one of them, there both beautiful and shows like a stopped in time type picture, mostly how pictures do show, those moments in memories that are trapped.

You said your dead to the old inking you did cause you have a new way of inking now, what do you use now to do inking ^^}

While I do like the more delicate inking on the old one, the pose is much more dynamic on the new one. It's so much more striking this way! I also really like the pixelated background.
